Abstract
The purpose of the given report is to calculate the electromagnetic cavity used in electro-optical modulators by the functional expansion method on elective values. The given approach will be shown on an example of an interior boundary problem of electrodynamics about an electromagnetic field in the cylindrical cavity of the coaxial type. Alternative representation for dispersion equation as analytical form without series is derived.
