Abstract :
We propose a frequency standard for optical telecommunications using difference-frequency generation between Nd:YAG and HeNe lasers. Preliminary experiments yielded 0.2 μW at 1561 nm for 24 mW at 1064.2 nm and 28 μW at 632.8 nm.
