Abstract :
Novel cascaded χ(2) wavelength conversions based on sum frequency generation and difference frequency generation (SFG+DFG) is proposed and demonstrated. Conversion efficiency is enhanced by 6 dB as compared with the conventional cascaded SHG+DFG wavelength conversion configuration.
