  • Abstract
Conventional multi-phase buck converters, as one of today´s major solutions for high current low voltage telecom and microprocessor power supplies, face severe challenges as the converter duty cycle becomes extremely small, and power density/switching frequency becomes higher and higher. This paper introduces non-isolated transformer-based multi-phase converter solutions that extend duty cycles to a favorable range to improve both steady state and dynamic performance.
