  • Abstract
    Soft-switching AC-DC converter with four-winding-reactor is proposed, in which IEC 61000-3-2 class D is satisfied. In this paper, the modeling of the proposed AC-DC converter is performed considering the influence of the input noise filter. The simulation results using the circuit model are compared with experimental results. As a result, it is revealed that the input noise filter part is represented by only the inductive element and that the simulation results agree well with experimental results. Moreover, when the equivalent inductance value of the input noise filter part is larger than 200 /spl mu/H, harmonics in the AC line current are suppressed satisfactorily.
