Abstract
At present, simulation technology is indispensable to the development of switching power supplies. However simulation skills such as operating techniques and know-hows are still necessary, then many experiences and much time should be required to master the simulator. These problems are great obstruction for the circuit designer to effectively make use of simulation technology. In order to overcome them, an automated simulation system is considered to be effective, where a user is not bothered by details of the simulation system. However very few papers have been reported on the automated simulation system before. This paper proposes the practical way of constructing the automated simulation system for switching power supplies based on the ideas of simulation engine, circuit expert engine, and web technology. This simulation system enables us to use the simulator just with the simple input data. As the result, the actual simulation system has been realized, and the validity and effectiveness of the proposed system are proved.
