Abstract
This paper demonstrates a new way of saving energy in mobile devices using IEEE 802.11 network interfaces to communicate, which is achieved by adding consecutive frames into a single one and gathering their headers. An experimentation of this process has been carried out in order to validate its efficiency. The proposed mechanism focuses on IEEE 802.11 infrastructure networks.
