  • Abstract
    Alamouti space-time transmit diversity (STTD) has been restricted to quasistatic fading channels S M Alamouti et al., (1998). However, the performance undergoes a great loss when the channels are time-varying fast fading. In this article, we investigate the impact of time-varying Rayleigh fading channels on the performance of Alamouti STTD scheme. And we propose a minimum mean square error (MMSE) detector, which can suppress both the noise and interference components, and consequently enhance the performance of STTD over time-varying fast fading channels.
