  • Abstract
    Through analyzing the architecture of UPFC control system and the common control strategies in existence, this paper describes the nonlinear and strong coupling characters in these control strategies. Based on the important offshoot of intelligent control theory - human-simulated intelligent control (HSIC), it proposes the intelligent control system architecture design of UPFC, meantime divides the whole system into two subsystems: nonlinear subsystem and linear servo subsystem to solve the nonlinear and strong coupling problem in control process.
