Abstract :
To achieve the smart behaviors of a virtual human, an interruptible and quickly responsive action plan is needed. Such an action layout system is presented, which focuses on the virtual human´s automatic posture transition in the virtual environment. The production system of the AI (artificial intelligent) is introduced to create the executable action sequence. In it, we develop an improved Markov algorithm as the control strategy to select the appropriate action to display. By a simple experiment of the virtual human´s posture transition, this system is proved to be quick and sensitive to the change in the virtual environment.
