Abstract
A novel broadband MMIC self-oscillating mixer is investigated as the key component in a novel prototype 60 GHz fiber-radio downlink system. The circuit has a wide locking range in order to remain stable across a temperature range of 0 - 40°C and was optically injection locked and used to upconvert the data onto a millimeter-wave wave carrier.
