Abstract
In this paper, the stability robustness of linear state-space model is analyzed. A bound on the structured perturbation of an asymptotically stable linear system is obtained to maintain stability by using the technique of zero-exclusion and pseudo-nominal system separation. The resulting bound is shown to be less conservative than the existing ones. Unlike the usual nominal system separation, the nominal system matrix with structured perturbation parameters is considered, in which the exact bound is often obtained. The illustrative examples are given to show the validity of the proposed approach in comparison with the results reported in the literatures.
