Abstract
From an inherent unstable aspect in the induction motor, a linear model of the induction motor system, which is fed by an inverter, is established to research the low frequency oscillation. Concretely, an analytical solution is given to determine its range in the stator voltage versus frequency plane, analyze the effects of the motor parameters on it, and advance measures to suppress it. At last, the nonlinear model of the system is used to simulate the previous analysis results, the simulation results accord with the analysis results.
