Abstract :
The coaxial winding transformer has the key attributes different from other transformers: low leakage inductance, minimal effect of leakage field on core loss, low copper loss and so on. This paper analyses the variation of core loss caused by nonuniform core flux density, and the choice of the principle dimensions and aspect ratios for maximum efficiency.
