Abstract
Passive position location of a stationary emitter from bearing-only measurements is a classical navigation problem. In this paper, by exploiting the total least-square (TLS) and least-square (LS) solution, the two algorithms estimate target motion parameters, using zero mean Gauss white noise. The performance of LS and TLS algorithms are evaluated in Monte-Carlo simulations and results are shown.
