  • Abstract
    In this paper, an efficient realization of space frequency block coding (SFBC) for OFDM systems is introduced and its combination with different low complexity single user pre-equalization techniques in the uplink of MC-CDMA systems is proposed. This approach can completely avoid an equalization at the receiver side and, additionally, does not need any uplink channel estimation. It is shown in this paper that the combination of SFBC with pre-equalization in MC-CDMA systems can achieve promising performance results in fading channels.
