Abstract
This paper applies previously known expressions to find the theoretical power spectral density (PSD) of MIL-STD shaped offset quadrature shift keying (SOQPSK) and SOQPSK-A in the presence of phase quantization and timing jitter errors. The PSD is found by means of Markov process analysis cast in a very efficient form.
