Abstract
Motion control for haptics is essential to realize various applications where the contact motion plays a major role. Particularly the feedback of contact to an operator on surgery is one of the important issues. The R&D team successfully realized a vivid sensation of touch for medical forceps in endoscopic surgery. This paper discusses how a bilateral motion is realized. Also the position and force control are analyzed for multilateral system. The paper also mentions the quarry process of environmental information.
