Abstract
A unified simulation methodology for electric networks using sliding mode theory and Simulink/MATLAB is developed in this paper. In particular, large networks with linear, time-invariant elements such as resistances, capacitors and inductances are considered. By this approach, the need to solve a set of both algebraic and differential equations is eliminated and the problem is reduced to solving a set of only differential equations. The methodology is unified and networks which are dynamic and static with respect to current are considered.
