Abstract
The asymptotic waveform evaluation is used to extract the most influential dominant poles of a large interconnect network so that the network can be approximated by a reduced-order model. However, the process may produce some unstable poles, which must be discarded. It is shown in this paper that extra useful poles can simply be obtained from computed stable poles by numerical interpolation.
