Abstract
We report on efficient and fast photorefractive polymers sensitized by CdSe nanoparticles that were synthesized using the reverse micelle method. Overmodulation of the diffraction efficiency was observed in 105 /spl mu/m-thick samples at an applied field of 60 V//spl mu/m. The transient build-up time of the grating was 52 ms.
