Abstract
Sub-300-fs soliton pulses with wavelength tunable over 1.560-1.677 /spl mu/m were generated at 10-GHz repetition-rate using soliton self-frequency shift in a highly nonlinear and low-loss photonic crystal fiber. The conversion efficiency was as much as 46% and fiber-coupled output was over 220 mW.
