Abstract
The European Project MED 2010 was designed to study the large-scale deployment of renewable energy sources in countries south and east of the Mediterranean. The planning method is based on the use of a rural electrification tool developed by the EDF ( the LAPER software), and the computerised description of the MV grid currently installed in Morocco. The LAPER results show that feasibility of a large scale photovoltaic electrification program, identifying the villages pinpointed for electrification. The result of the studies carried out in Khouribga Province and Taroudannt Province of Morocco.
