Abstract
The work theoretically discusses on how the effects of the interaction between permanent dipoles in a spin-polarized BEC can be observed and tuned. In addition, adjustment of the strength and sign of the dipolar interaction in a BEC is demonstrated. By rotating the dipole orientation at a frequency much larger than the trap frequencies, the effective (time averaged) dipolar coupling can be changed from positive to negative values if the rotation angle is varied.
