Abstract
Lane detection is a key technology for intelligent ground vehicles (IGVs). Problems in lane detection often occur in outdoor events due to sunshine and/or shadow effects. To solve these problems, we employed a new real-time Hough transform method for lane detection. The validity of the proposed method was verified by IGVC in 2002.
