Abstract
Identification of bilinear systems is necessary since there exist many nonlinear dynamics, which have products of state variables multiplied by input signals. A method is proposed with some numerical examples for estimation of parameters in bilinear systems. It is shown that wavelet connection coefficients, used in accurate numerical simulation, can extract enough information concerning derivatives and their products by integration of wavelet transformed signals. It is demonstrated that connection coefficients are suitable for identification of bilinear systems represented by differential equations.
