Abstract
The polarisation characteristics of high-voltage power-line radar cross section (RCS) at 76 GHz have been experimentally evaluated by a team from the Electronic Navigation Research Institute, Tokyo. The aim of the research is principally to improve helicopters´ obstacle detection systems, allowing pilots to more easily detect and avoid high-voltage power lines.
