Abstract
Full wave analysis of large arrays is often impossible to perform due to limited computing resources. The utilization of a simplified coupling model can provide an approximate solution in a fraction of the time. However, these simplified coupling models can be still too CPU intensive, especially if the model is to be used in an automatic optimization procedure. In this work, an alternative approach to the full wave method, for the analysis and synthesis of large arrays, is proposed.
