Abstract
The hybrid near field antenna measurement system and ITDAMS (impulse time domain antenna measurement system) at Da Yeh University is presented. The hybrid near field antenna test range uses the traditional frequency domain vector network analysis. The near field scanner has a combination of spherical, cylindrical, and planar scanners. The ITDAMS is a direct time domain system. It has the capability of pulse width of 30 ps, voltage of 30 volts, and PRF of 250 kHz. By using the ITDAMS, an RF anechoic chamber is not required for antenna measurements. The test results of different antennas from both frequency domain and direct time domain antenna measurement systems agree quite well.
