Abstract :
A novel arrowlike monopole antenna, fed by a coplanar waveguide (CPW), is given. The measured results are presented, showing a 111.8% bandwidth for the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 2:1. The numerical results of the FDTD method agree well with the experimental ones. The proposed antenna can be used conveniently in broadband communications.
