Abstract
Electromagnetic design and performance studies for a monolithic hybrid variable thickness radome (hy-VTR) are presented. The hybrid shape follows from blended conical-ogival sections. A comparative study with hybrid constant thickness radome (hy-CTR) designs establishes the superiority of hy-VTR for aircraft applications.
