Abstract :
A new tool for the prediction of the electromagnetic field in urban areas, based on a VPL approach, has been presented in this paper. The tool logic has been thought in order to enhance the VPL potentiality, and the procedure is mainly based on a deterministic description of the scene and the electromagnetic wave propagation. The main elements of novelty are given by the fact that the tool is based on a direct ray tracing method, including all the possible reflected and diffracted rays. Some results have been presented to show the tool potentiality.
