Abstract
The first use of NEC by the author and his colleagues in the late 70s was concerned with the problem of the effects of the environment on the radiation pattern of MF broadcast directional arrays. The paper addresses the MF broadcast tower itself and the detail that can (must) be included in the numerical model to achieve a close agreement between measurement and simulation.
