Abstract
Advanced 14xx-nm-pump-lasers are reviewed for next generation optical fiber amplifiers. Hybrid-pump with ultra high power and low-DOP, uncooled pump for submarine system, and inner-grating-multi-mode-laser (IGM-laser) with ultra low noise and reduced stimulated-Brillouin-scattering are described.
