  • Abstract
    Double cladding Cr:YAG crystal fiber was fabricated by a co-drawing laser heated pedestal growth technique. The Cr/sup 3+/, Cr/sup 4+/ fluorescence and refraction index distribution were investigated by a 2-D scanning microscopy.
