Abstract

For overcoming the complication and imprecision of the knowledge expression of ID3 method for the database with the multitudinous datum, the method of combination of cloud model and ID3 method is proposed to find the knowledge from the background of data mining method in IDSS. The cloud transform method is applied to producing the higher concept layer. Then the ID3 method is used to induce the knowledge. An experiment is provided to indicate the availability of the method. The knowledge found by this method is precise and easy to be understood. And the time spent is short in the method. The efficiency of method is high.
