Abstract
We present maximum achievable throughputs with optimal spatial reuse TDMA (STDMA) for different types of wireless ad hoc networks, i.e., different network size and connectivity. Besides optimal STDMA we also, as a comparison, include normal TDMA and traffic adaptive TDMA. To obtain the optimal scheduling for STDMA a technique reported by F. Bjorklund et al. (Proc. IEEE INFOCOM´03, pp. 818-824, 2003) is used. Our results show that substantial throughput gains can be obtained by traffic adaptivity and spatial reuse.
