Abstract
We implement a DNS server module on the SSFNet, which is one of popular and convenient network simulation tools but does not include DNS server module. To see the effectiveness of the implemented DNS server module, a simulation mimicking the famous sapphire worm is performed in a simulation network that includes more than 1,700 hosts, many routers, switches, firewalls and an IDS.
