Abstract
This paper deals with the modeling of mobile agent systems. In particular, we focus on the modeling of protocols for agent interaction. First, a multi-level Petri net based formalism, called n-LNS, in which tokens can be symbols or other nets is presented. Then a method for the modeling of this kind of systems using n-LNS is proposed. Finally, a methodology for implementing mobile agents from n-LNS models using the JADE framework is outlined.
