  • Abstract
Assembly sequence planning is the primary part in the assembly planning, and also is one of the most important works to be done during the assembly. This paper analyzes the main problem existing in the assembly sequence planning, and introduces integrated assembly object model which can represent different kinds of assembly data and knowledge and support virtual assembly. Then the algorithm of multi-level intelligent assembly sequence planning is discussed. It is designed on the theory of cut-set for disassembly, and applies assembly semantics and constraints in the integrated assembly object model to improve the assembly sequence planning. And the availability, correctness and validity of the assembly semantics and the constraints affect the efficiency of the planning directly.
