Abstract :
For the purpose of anticipating the lifestyle in the ubiquitous information society, the working group LD (lifestyle design) in the "Yaoyorozu" project took a multidisciplinary approach with members who have backgrounds in the usability engineering, the cognitive science, the universal design, the interaction design and the software science. The framework of activity of this working group was based on ISO13407 and the project activities followed the four-process model proposed in this standard. The key to the success of this kind of multidisciplinary project is then discussed.
