Abstract :
A planning method of cast for steelmaking continuous casting production scheduling in CIMS is studied. The cast plan model is established. An improved genetic algorithm with modified mutation operator and adaptive probabilities of crossover and mutation is proposed to solve the optimum cast plan problem. The computation with practical data shows that the model and the solving method are very effective.
