Abstract :
Multi-user access for the OFDM system is more sensitive to frequency offset than the broadcast access of OFDM. In this paper, the frequency synchronization algorithm according to the maximum-likelihood rule is discussed particularly which is based on the preambles of each frame specified by Hpi specification. Some theoretical analysis illustrates the algorithms is unbiased. The simulation results and emulation results based on DSP show that the proposed algorithm can estimate the frequency offset accurately.
