Abstract
The International Submarine Races (ISR) have been taking place since 1989. These events have served and will continue to serve as a platform for creative people to demonstrate and evaluate their designs with their peers. In seven years, there have been 166 submarines and approximately 1,500 contestants. This paper summarizes the past and looks into the future of the ISR.
