Abstract
As the semiconductor industry moves into the next generation sub-nanometer design the quality of the electronic design automation (EDA) tools becomes more critical. With shrinking market windows and increasing time to market constraints the designers need reliable and robust EDA software tools to ensure that the design is manufacturable with an acceptable yield. This paper develops a balanced scorecard for implementing systemic quality in an EDA organization.
