  • Abstract
    The Classic Doherty achieves high efficiency in the bscked-off power region, but shows no improvement at the high power levels. In this paper, a Modified Doherty Amplifier is presented as a possible solution for multi-carrier W-CDMA power amplifier linearity and emciency requirements. A Modified Doherty Amplifier is capable of achieving high efficiency and improved gain over the bandwidth without sacrificing linearity.
