  • Abstract
A systematic algorithm for calculating Spectral-Domain (SD) and Space-Domain (SPD) dyadic Green´s functions of multi layered cylindrical Structures is presented. In SD the solution for the components of the dyadic Green´s functions are obtained using a Generalized Transmission Line Model (GTLM). Relations between SD and SPD components are given. The obtained Green´s function is applied for modelling a conformal small dipole antenna embedded multilayered cylindrical structure. An asymptotic approximation, which performs a fast and efficient far field calculation in SPD, is used to calculate the antenna pattern. Based on the asymptotic approximation, it has been shown that the antenna pattern can he efficiently shaped and optimized using the parameters of the GTLM, even with a relatively large number of layers.
