Abstract :
In this paper, we describe a generalized scheme to analyze the bit error probability of Hamming codes when the code symbols have different symbol energies. The method of analysis is general, and could be used to analyze other block code schemes. We illustrate the effectiveness of our method with application to a spectrally-shaped multicarrier direct-sequence spread spectrum system.
