Abstract :
In this paper, a new approach to control Hammerstein processes based on the passivity theorem was proposed. A feedforward dynamic passification technique, together with a nonlinear compensator that counteracts the effects of input nonlinearities, were developed to ensure the closed-loop stability of the nonlinear system. A systematic design algorithm for the feedforward system was presented. Simulations were performed to demonstrate the technique developed.
