Abstract
We discuss some methods for creating broadband auto-oscillation noise sources. A prospective source, operating in the microwave frequency range, is described in detail. This source is an 8-mm self-excited oscillator, the frequency if which is modulated by a deterministic chaotic signal. The modulating signal is produced by a low frequency modulator which possess complex chaotic nonlinear dynamics.
